Melissa Suzanne George hails from Australia and is an actress, model, businesswoman and inventor. When she began her career in her native country she eventually moved to Hollywood and found great success at the top of her game. The native of Perth George was at first interested by dancing and artful roller skating. Her modelling career began at the age of twenty-one, in which she received the Western Australia Teenage Model Award in 1992. In an episode from the Seven Network's Home and Away, she first appeared on screen the next year. She had her big-screen debut in the crime thriller Dark City and essayed various supporting roles in projects like Alias The Limey and Down with Love before debuting as the female protagonist in an established Hollywood production in the remake in 2005 of The Amityville Horror.
