Aaliyah Daniel Haughton made her way to fame in 1994 after her album debut Age Ain't Nothing but a Numer. The album was Gold when she was 15 years old. The group's collaboration heavily influential to R. Kelly's musical style, put her in the limelight. In 1996 she collaborated with Jermaine Dpri and Timbaland for her second studio album One In A Million, featuring the number one hit track If Your Girl Only knew. Aaliyah was a well-known R&B singer after the album's release. In 2000, she appeared in the romantic action film Romeo Must Die alongside martial arts legend Jet-Li. Joel Silver, the film producer, met her at the awards ceremony and kindly offered her this part. In 2002 she had the opportunity to play the horror film Queen of the Damned which was inspired by the Anne Rice novel. In 2003, she was on screen in The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions. In 1999, 2001, 2002, and 2003 she was nominated to win four Grammy Awards. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. She is a first-generation Indian-American born in Connecticut. Her stage name Mann is an abbreviation for her married name Mankad. Mann uses Aarti Man and Aarti Mahumdar as her stage name. Though her first professional career was mostly dominated by small movie and TV performances, she rose to greater prominence in the mid-2000s. Alongside The Big Bang Theory, her other notable works include Leverage (2013) Suits (2014) as well as Grey's Anatomy (2017.) The actress has been featured in advertisements for major companies like the international auto manufacturer Volvo. She lives in Los Angeles where she continues acting as an actress.
